Nalanda College OBA USA donated LKR 2 million to support 33 talented hostel students. Which was carried out in coordination with the Nalanda College Old Boys Association and the Principal of Nalanda College. These students were selected by the school. The event was held on 28th April 2023 with the participation of the Honorable Principal, Secretary, Members of Nalanda College Old boys association, Hostel students and their parents. Also, Professor Sandun Perera (Chairman of the Advisory Committee of the Nalanda College OBA USA ), Mr. Hasanjith Kuruppuarachchige (Treasurer of the Nalanda College OBA USA) and Members of the Nalanda College OBA USA participated through a zoom call
